Tehran, IRI, National Conference

The First National Exhibition and Conference on urban and fire safety took place in Tehran (Islamic Republic of Iran) 3-4 February 2016.

This forum was attended by interested persons of the Republic of Iran, the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Poland and Australia. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus was represented by The Head of the State Educational Establishment “The Institute for Retraining and Professional Development”, Colonel of internal service Vadzim Sihnevich, and the Head of Command Faculty of the Institute for Command Engineers colonel of internal service Sergey Prudnikov.

The conference gave the possibility to demonstrate technology, rescue equipment and tools for integrated security in the cities, issues of specialists training for emergency departments were also discussed.

Representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus had presented educational opportunities in institutions of the Ministry. Management of fire service and civil defense organizations of Iran has expressed interest in training in the following areas: on the second stage of higher education, command staff training, retraining and professional development, as full time course of study, so as in remote mode.
