| Nowadays the harmonious, multilevel system of the rescuers professional training is created in the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus. It allows providing rescue services with highly-skilled personnel. The component of this system is the additional education through the personnel retraining and professional development. Realization of this problem in the field of the population protection from emergencies is assigned to the State Educational Establishment “The Institute for Retraining and Professional Development” of the Ministry for Emergency situations of the Republic of Belarus. | Read more... | During 2010 259 specialists from 14 foreign states have passed training at the Institute: from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Egypt, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Moldova, Mongolia, Russian Federation, Sudan, Tajikistan. The list of countries which representatives have passed training at the Institute expanded from 15 to 20 countries. The total amount of foreign specialists trained in the Institute during 2003-2010 is 842. Foreign specialists have passed training on 22 training courses. However only in 2010 the list of courses increased on 12 courses. In 2010 for the first time the representatives of international organizations such as International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO) have passed training at the Institute. | 5 representatives from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan passed “Operational control center dispatchers” training course together with the Belarusian group at the Institute from December, 13 till December, 21, 2010. | 9 representatives from the Municipal Establishment “Rescue Service” of the Anapa resort-city municipality passed “Rescuers professional development in the field of fire extinguishing” training course at the Institute from December, 06 till December, 18, 2010. | | | |
