11 representatives of Jordan Civil Defence General Directorate have passed training at the University branch "Institute for retraining and professional development". The training was held under “Management of fire and rescue incidents” programme from 31 October till 4 November, 2016.
During practical exercises the trainees worked out questions of rescue operations at transport accidents, in the earthquake zone, fire-extinguishing of LPG at oil and gas storage facilities. Problematic issues, such as fire-fighting in residential and public buildings, management of forces and means in rescue and fire-fighting works were discussed during the practice.
An integral part of the training was a visit to Borisov fire station, Republican Special Rescue Team, Republican Centre for Emergency Response of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus.
The total number of trained specialists from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is 122 people since 2010.
